    Why convert WebP to PNG?

    Some editors, design tools and older systems don't open WebP files. PNG is universally supported, works with layers in many apps and keeps transparency.

    Will I lose quality?

    No — PNG conversion is lossless. The pixels are copied exactly. The file may be larger than the WebP original, which is expected because PNG stores more detail by design.

    Does it handle transparent backgrounds?

    Yes. The alpha channel is preserved, so logos and icons with transparency convert cleanly instead of getting a background fill.
